In a day to be chosen by you, during your stay at Terceira, it is included a full day tour through the island (8 hours with lunch included), to visit the spots with more beauty to admire, including: a stop at a viewpoint with a fantastic panoramic sight to the city of Angra do Heroísmo, while passing through a fortress of the XVI century; stop for pictures at the viewpoint with a landscape that shows the greatest islet of the Azores Island, where sea birds nest nowadays; visit to the oldest church on the island, where you can observe magnificent paintings of the 16th century (frescoes) and one of the many religious buildings of the Holy Spirit festival, the “império”; a stop at the city of Praia da Vitória, the city that is the birthplace of the writer Vitorino Nemésio; stop at the top of Serra do Cume, from where you can see the famous landscape of the “patchwork” of fields, that is one of the greatest volcanic craters of the archipelago. Regional lunch, with drinks included and dessert. Visit to the interior of an empty volcano, the Algar do Carvão, which is classified as natural monument of extraordinary beauty; walk along the natural pools formed by basaltic lava; tasting of artisanal cheese. In a day and hour to be agreed on, it will be provided the exit transfer from the hotel, hostel or local accomodation, with destination to the international airport of Lajes.
