Description
This option includes transfer + full day tour. Disembark at Lajes airport and board on of our transfer service that will transport you in private and in maximum comfort to your hotel, hostel or local accommodation. On a day of your choice, do a full day tour of the island (8 hours and lunch included), to visit the places of greatest tourist interest, namely: photo stop at a viewpoint with fantastic panoramic views over the city of Angra do Heroísmo; photo stop at a viewpoint overlooking the largest islet in the Azores; visit the most ancientt church on Terceira Island, where you can see magnificent 16th century paintings; explore and photograph the city center of Praia da Vitória ; stop to photograph one of the most famous landscapes of the island “Manta de Retalhos” the largest volcanic caldera of the archipelago. Regional lunch (alcatra de carne) with beverages and dessert included. Visit the inside of an empty volcano (Algar do Carvão), one of the most visited natural monuments on the island; discover the natural pools formed by basaltic lava flow; taste artisanal cheese. On the day of departure and at a time to be arranged, a transfer will be provided for departure from the hotel, hostel or local accommodation to Lajes airport.
